Pricing
Our book trailers and web videos range in price, depending upon book length, complexity, edit go-rounds, postings, etc., but are produced very economically. Our most popular trailer (approx. 1:30 - 2:00 minutes with stock imagery, custom clips with movement, text, music and/or appropriate sound effects, custom book information end clip and NoWicki Productions final clip) costs between $550 - $950. We also offer shorter versions and longer versions ranging from $350 - $2,000. Voiceovers are additional unless supplied by client. Email us to discuss your budget and the best option for you.
Rough concept trailer: We develop a rough concept trailer to give you the flavor of the imagery and copy. In our experience, trailers between 1 - 2 minutes long offer the most impact and provide optimal time to create a continuity of imagery, relay a primary message and attitude and evoke emotion. However, shorter or longer videos can work effectively in some cases. Music, sound effects, still photos, stock footage, text and/or voiceovers are our favorite formula and best translate a book without detracting from the reader’s interpretation.
Edits: A round or two of edits is agreed upon.
Final Production: We produce a final trailer for your book.
Versions: If multiple versions are requested (eg. available at Amazon vs. available at Barnes and Noble) we charge a small fee ($20) for the clip change and additional uploads.
Book review and client input: We prefer to completely read your book (or manuscript) and hear your thoughts. You will be provided with a client questionnaire to help define the target message.
Distribution: You get immediate and automatic exposure when we post the trailer for you on our YouTube Channel and employ several marketing techniques to increase viewership on YouYube, as well as tweet about all of our new trailers.
